Bitmain’s ‘Ant Training Academy’ (ATA) training service upgrade project made significant adjustments this year to ensure that participants around the world can still be trained in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic. ATA launched its online courses and has completed 16 online training courses to date, including 9 in Chinese and 7 in English, with more than 130 trainees taking part, accounting for nearly 50% of the total the trainees in 2020.
ATA is the only training organization and certification authority officially certified by Antminer. Based on years of knowledge dissemination and technology inheritance and acquisition, ATA offers optional maintenance training courses: on-site maintenance training and online maintenance training. On-site maintenance training includes long-term courses (chip welding essentials and miner maintenance training) and short-term courses (miner maintenance training only). Online maintenance training includes various training videos and documents, online instructor guidance, and Q&A.
Many participants are unable to attend on-site courses attributed to the pandemic, and with the growing urgency for maintenance training. ATA devised high quality online courses when the pandemic developed and eventually produced an exploratory and practical solution as below:
The online maintenance training consists of 3 steps. Material explanation, Q&A, and exams are modules that are included in each step. The online training course is 14 days long, and trainees can flexibly organize the online learning time with exceptions for the assessments.
Assessment: 3-phase Examination (70%) + Theory Assessment (30%)
The maintenance training courses are currently available for Antminer series 9, 17, and 19. For the trainees applying for the online training course from October 1, 2020, to December 31 , 2020, a $ 200 coupon is provided for the purchase of materials on our official website. Skills come from practice, so ATA still suggests that participants take on-site courses if possible so that they can learn better through hands-on experience and face-to-face guidance from professional trainers.

As a leading global technology company, Bitmain takes customer experiences as a priority. As the strategic role of Bitmain’s services, ATA continues to upgrade and evolve and will continue to upgrade training courses to market needs, particularly to empower our customers with the ability to maintain and repair their miners, thereby reducing ‘ r losses caused by miners’ failures.
