To celebrate this launch, Invity’s and its exchange partners will be offering reduced or zero fees until Monday 14 December for any float rate swap made through Trezor Suite. Partners participating in this offering are: ChangeHero, Changelly, ChangeNOW, CoinSwitch, and FoxExchange.

This release also comes with a number of other features, including dark mode, a time range selector for graphs, and the ability to export transaction history in various formats. We’ll cover these in more detail towards the end of this blog post. As the public beta continues, we look forward to introducing even more functionality, getting involved using Suite and sending us your feedback.

Invity is a company founded by SatoshiLabs, creators of Trezor’s hardware wallet. It was set up to help Trezor users buy Bitcoin at a fair price from respected, authenticated third parties without the need to hold their funds on an exchange. Invity is helping Trezor become a unified crypto service. Buy, exchange, save and spend cryptocurrency, all in one place.

Fair prices: Buying bitcoin from an exchange can be difficult as each has its own market price, fees, and acceptable payment methods. Invity makes it easy to buy crypto, because consumers can compare different exchange rates and choose from the payment methods available, all at once.

Reliable providers: Removing the need for trust in payments is one of the major attractions of Bitcoin. However, when converting your local currency into bitcoin, trust is important. That’s why Invity checks all partner exchanges to ensure that they have a reputation for high standards of customer service, a proven track record in the industry, and that they comply with all necessary legal requirements.

Safe processes: Swaps are often the target of theft as they hold money until the consumer withdraws. By having the exchange send the coins directly to your Trezor wallet, your funds are not exposed to such attacks and are fully in your custody. Thanks to Invity, you can enjoy security at every step when using your crypto.

Invity is key to building a full, all-in-one crypto ecosystem for Trezor users and complete beginners alike. Invity makes it easy for new users, and reinforces the security commitment known to Trezor. First time investors in crypto can access the same comparison tool through the independent website, even if they don’t own Trezor yet. That makes it perfect for sharing with parents, coworkers, and crypto-skeptics, pulling the uncertainty out of cryptocurrencies, thanks to its simple interface and educational materials.

Thanks to a close partnership with eleven exchanges worldwide, and more to come, Invity matches your cryptocurrency purchase or exchange application with available offers, sorted by payment method and preferred, so you always know exactly what is available and how to get the best price.

Start buying and exchanging crypto

Plug in your hardware wallet, launch Trezor Suite and navigate to the Trading tab in your accounts section. There, you have the option to Buy or Exchange your crypto. You will also see the option for Wario crypto – this is a feature that Invity is still working on but will be coming soon. Navigate to the service you want and select your region, if you haven’t already.

To buy crypto, go to the Buy tab, specify how much crypto you want to buy or fiat to spend, and you’ll generate up-to-date offers from our partners. Choose from the list of offers based on the price, provider, or type of payment, then complete your payment directly through the selected supplier’s portal. When you are finished, you will receive the money directly into your Trezor wallet, so your coins are in secure custody and under your immediate control.

To swap currency, select the asset you have and the asset you want to exchange, and enter the amount you want to spend. Invity will fetch a curated list of trusted exchanges that can fulfill the order, so you can compare the prices of cryptocurrencies and choose the exchange that works best for you.

Does Invity charge a fee for buying or exchanging crypto?

In order to operate sustainably, Invity shares a portion of the transaction fees charged by each exchange. The good news is that all of these costs are already included in the price shown to you, so you never have to worry about hidden fees or misconceptions.

Invity is also working on new partnerships around the world, joining vetted partners with increased regional support, currency, and payment options. In other words: Invity will only continue to improve.

As we continue to develop in closed and public beta, a host of new features are taking shape, as outlined in our coverage of AMA Trezor Suite.

Dark mode

Unsurprisingly, one of the most sought after features of the community was a dark mode color scheme for the user interface. Dark mode can now be used to enjoy Trezor Suite more comfortably, night or day. Update to the latest version and turn on dark mode via the settings menu.

Export transactions

After some regular use, it is easy to lose track of transactions. Now, Trezor Suite supports exporting a batch of transactions, which can be used in combination with the labeling feature to create well-organized, useful exports of transaction history. Supporting exporting in CSV, PDF, and JSON this is especially useful for anyone using Trezor Suite for business accounting using bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

Keep choosing high time

A little perspective goes a long way. With the new time range selector, gain more insight into the history of your portfolio. Try it now in the main graph on your Trezor Suite dashboard. Whether you’re trending up or down, compare your activity over the short and long term to help track your savings and set strong goals.
