The Trezor Store is currently being targeted by a DDoS attack, meaning it is overloaded with applications from hijacked computers, so access to the site may be a bit slow to her.
This attack does not affect the security of the e-shop in any way, but we know it can be a bit inconvenient for our customers, so please be patient with us. We have seen these attacks many times over the years and business will continue as usual.
We have implemented a couple of checks to compensate for the attack in the meantime, including a captcha and a limit on the number of requests that can be made immediately.
Only our shop is affected at the moment and hopefully normal service will resume soon.
If this DDoS attack has given you a desire to learn more about cyber security, feel free to read some of our latest news on our blog. If you want to learn more about Trezor’s security measures and how we work with security experts, visit our security page.
We are particularly proud of our ongoing campaign with Project Tor, helping NGOs and non-profits in the broader cyber security and technology community to capitalize on cryptocurrency. Take a look at our open call and remember to get the message across to your favorite charitable organization.
