How to get the most out of your Bitfinex Pulse account

Bitfinex launched its built-in news aggregator and social platform, Bitfinex Pulse last month. It was created to provide a valuable and secure environment for crypto traders to share and grow, which will ultimately encourage a stronger crypto community.
With the interests of the traders in mind, Bitfinex Pulse has a number of features and functions that will benefit them. We are also continually developing the platform and introducing new capabilities to Pulsers – this is what we call Bitfinex Pulse users.
Here is a guide on how to get the most out of your Pulse account:
Other than a nickname (4-32 characters), you can upload an image and give a brief description of yourself. Your Bitfinex Pulse profile is worth a thousand words because it makes it easier for people to find and follow you.
Do you know that the only way to get others to see your pulses is by making them public? To do that, you need to be a checked Bitfinex user. Check out our Checkout FAQs to find out how to verify your account.

- Pin your pulse for attention
When you log in to your Bitfinex account, you will be able to see the Bitfinex Pulse flag just below the top menu. It shows a continuous flow of pbys lentils of various Pulsers.
The key word is “pinned”, So if you want your pulse to be featured on the flag, you have to do it post a public pulse a pin it.

Not everything can be shared publicly. Like an authenticated Pulser, you can exchange private messages with the other validated Pulsers. Click on the “Message” button right below their profile to start sending them private messages.
What’s new on Bitfinex Pulse v3
Bitfinex encourages discussions between crypto lovers in the community. So we added new functions on Bitfinex Pulse. With the Bitfinex Pulse v3 upgrade, verified Pulsers can:
There’s nothing better than going into a conversation where you know exactly what to say. Skip to discussions by clicking on the “Answer” button below pulse. On clicking, you will see a popup window with a text field and a “Post” button. What’s more, each comment will have a unique URL because it’s actually a pulse, which means you can split all your comments off.
- View number of comments on pulses
Right under the pulse, you can see how many comments he has received. Clicking on it will show up to 10 comments each.
- Receive notifications on new comments
You will be notified when your pulse receives comments, in a preview mode that shows the comment link and the “Reply” button. What’s more, you’ll receive notices when you get new followers or when your lentils get new likes.
We respect your privacy, so you can decline comments for all your public pulses if you do not feel comfortable receiving them.
Bitfinex Pulse is on a mobile phone!
No need to worry about losing insights from your favorite traders or the latest crypto market updates while you’re on the go. On the Bitfinex mobile app, you can:
The search feature comes in handy when you’re looking for specific pulses or users. Type in the topics of interest to you or username in the search box. You can start joining the conversation by posting comments on the pulses that match your searched topic or interacting with other users by following them and watching their public tails.

More capabilities with Bitfinex Pulse v4
We are constantly working on Bitfinex Pulse to give you the ultimate social trading experience. Bitfinex Pulse v4 comes with the new group messages feature. This feature allows verified users to create and administer private group chats. Group members can be searched and selected from a list of user nicknames on the Messages tab. Selected users will then receive notifications on a group chat invitation and will be able to join in receiving them.
Group administrators can make the following:
- Set the name or subject of their groups.
- Add a picture for their groups.
- Invite users to join their groups.
- Remove users from their groups.
While group members can:
- Receive a message when a new member joins the group.
- Leave the group.
