The United States Congress has approved a $ 900 billion Covid-19 relief package that is linked to the government’s $ 2.3 trillion year-end funding plan. Of course, conversations about Americans getting $ 600 checks have started circulating online, but reports also include unlimited spending discussions and unlimited pork funds.

As soon as mainstream media news outlets began reporting the fact that the US Congress had approved a $ 900 billion Covid-19 relief package, Americans began talking about the $ 600 check they could get. The commentary towards politicians was less than pleasant and on Twitter, the phrase commonly attributed to Marie Antoinette, “Let them eat cake”Trending over the last 24 hours.

The $ 900 billion Covid-19 relief package is whopping 5,593 pages long and according to Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY 4th District), Democrats didn’t even want to read the bill.
“Reminder: The House has a rule to give everyone 72 hours to read the bills,” Massie tweets. “Every Democrat in the House voted to abolish that rule and that’s why we’re voting on a 5,500+ page bill tonight with less than 8 hours to read.”
Additionally, on social media and online forums, many Americans discussed the huge amount of pork barrel funds embedded in the latest $ 900 billion program, and the $ 2.3 trillion end-of-year funding plan. “Pork” or “pork finance” is when bureaucrats distribute funding to some government programs and the costs are spread to taxpayers.
The year-end funding legislation also allocates $ 284 billion to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Unfortunately, many Americans were not pleased with the last PPP distribution, as it was intended for small businesses but a large majority of the money was written off by large businesses.
Billions for Foreign Countries, 1% Federal Employee Pay Rise, New Furniture, and Missile Acquisition
The approved US pork politicians are extremely luxurious and seem to benefit the political class most. For example, Congress gave themselves and all federal employees a 1% pay raise. Renowned journalist zerohedge.com, Tyler Durden, announced a great collection of a large number of pork barrel funds added to the Covid-19 bill.
But the list is much larger and over the last 24 hours, many people have been scrutinizing the so-called relief bill.
A massive Covid-19 package will give billions to foreigners, millions to the Kennedy Center, and more. For example, family members of unauthorized U.S. citizens get up to $ 1,800. There is even a new law in the bill that would make illegal streaming a felony offense. The massive 2.3 trillion-dollar package is the largest ever considered by Congress, so large that the 5,593-page bill has to be carried by a 4-wheel doll.
An estimated $ 3.3 billion will go to Israel ($ 500M for the Israeli military), $ 453 million will be sent to Ukraine, $ 130 million for Nepal, $ 10 million to Pakistan, $ 1.3 billion to Egypt, $ 700 million for Sudan, $ 135 million for Burma, $ 85.5 million for Cambodia, and $ 1.4 billion for the “Asia Assurance Initiative Act.”

The popular Twitter account Rando Oilfield has also been tweeting about much of this unjust spending by the US government and making fun of the head of all the pork loaded into the Covid-19 relief bill. “$ 750,000,000 for Fossil Energy Research Development? Rando he asked on Twitter. “Who gets this?” Rando continued his trade on the US government and said:

It is clear and obvious that US bureaucrats have added a great deal of pork barrel money to the relief bill. But the majority of politicians in America act as they scrambled to pass the $ 900 billion relief package in an effort to tackle economic hardship.
Senator Rand Paul, (R-KY) blasted members of the United States Congress when addressing them on the Senate floor Monday. Paul basically said that Republican and Democrat leaders are basically the same thing. “For so-called conservatives, who are quick to point out Democrat socialism: If you vote for this dishonesty of spending, you’re no better,” Paul joked. The Youtube video of Senator Paul’s floor speech also went viral on social media and forums
“If free money was the answer … if money really grew on trees, why not give more money for free?” Paul stressed. “Why not put it out all the time? Why stop at $ 600 per person? How about $ 1,000? How about $ 2,000? Maybe these Free Money Republicans should join the All-Gets-A-Guaranteed-Income Caucasus? How about $ 20,000 a year for everyone, what about $ 30,000? If we can print money without compulsion, why not do it? ”
However, as usual bureaucrats and their friends are the ones who will receive a cash boost in the coming days. Meanwhile millions of Americans are also falling behind in rent and the latest legislation only extends the eviction protection program until late January.
